6 x 8 oil on wood panelFollowing our wedding in July 2007, my husband and I spent 2 weeks in Portugal exploring and relaxing. This beautiful coastal country is steeped in maritime history and culture, but we did manage to leave the coast for a few days in the Duoro Valley. Vineyards throughout this valley produce port and welcome visitors for tastings and tours. This painting is of an especially picturesque vineyard with a view of some of the distant hills.
